CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

As CEO of BRACE, Dr. Nick Jackson leads with vision, compassion, and a deep commitment to community resilience. He oversees organizational strategy, program development, and multi-county disaster recovery efforts, ensuring BRACE remains a trusted leader in preparedness and response. Under his leadership, BRACE has expanded partnerships, strengthened long-term recovery initiatives, and secured critical funding to serve Northwest Florida.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Operations Manager of BRACE, Carolyn Gray ensures the organization runs with efficiency, excellence, and purpose. She oversees daily operations, supports staff and volunteers, and manages key programs such as the AmeriCorps VISTA program and Teen CERT. Through her leadership, organization, and commitment to service, she helps translate BRACE’s mission into action—supporting stronger, more resilient communities before, during, and after disasters.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Caroline leads the BRACE team in securing necessary program grants. As marketing lead, she also oversees content development for training classes and plays a key role in advancing fundraising initiatives, strengthening community partnerships, and enhancing public visibility. An educator at heart, Caroline mentors new VISTAs while also serving as a CERT instructor and active Fire Corps member.

CERT PROGRAM MANAGER

Preston ensures that the organization operates securely, efficiently, and with cutting-edge technology support while also overseeing the CERT program. With a strong commitment to preparedness and community service, Preston plays a key role in enhancing BRACE’s capacity to educate, equip, and mobilize residents for emergency response and resilience.

FINANCE MANAGER

Ashley oversees BRACE’s budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and fiscal responsibility. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence help sustain BRACE’s programs and strengthen the organization’s financial health.

VISTA OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Nick Jones manages the organization’s social media presence and creates engaging graphic and marketing content. His creativity and communication skills help raise awareness, strengthen community engagement, and highlight BRACE’s impact across Northwest Florida.

VISTA RESILIENCE COORDINATOR

Gilberto advances BRACE’s long-term sustainability by strengthening capacity through grant research, supporting fundraising initiatives, and partner engagement. His strong organization, attention to detail, and data management skills help BRACE meet its goals and maintain accurate, efficient records.

VISTA WORKFORCE COORDINATOR

BRACE’s VISTA Workforce Coordinator, Rita Cook leads the Disaster Defenders Teen CERT program, inspiring and training the next generation of youth in preparedness and community service. She also supports fundraising initiatives that help sustain BRACE’s programs and outreach.
