Disaster Services RoundTable

The Disaster Services RoundTable is a collaborative forum hosted by Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies (BRACE) that brings together emergency management leadership, nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, businesses, and community partners from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

This RoundTable exists to strengthen relationships before disaster strikes—creating a shared space where partners can connect, coordinate, and align efforts to better serve residents across Northwest Florida.

Disasters are not managed in silos. Effective preparedness, response, and recovery depend on trusted relationships, clear communication, and coordinated planning.
The Disaster Services RoundTable:
- Connects residents, businesses, nonprofits, and local governments directly with emergency management leadership
- Encourages cross-sector collaboration to reduce duplication of services
- Strengthens preparedness and recovery planning across both counties
- Builds awareness of available resources, gaps, and emerging needs
- Fosters long-term partnerships that improve community resilience
Each RoundTable includes:
- Updates from local Emergency Management
- Partner introductions and networking
- Discussion on preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts
- Identification of community needs and opportunities for collaboration
- Information sharing on upcoming trainings, exercises, and events
Meetings are designed to be informative, collaborative, and practical, ensuring every participant leaves better equipped to serve their organization and the community.
The Disaster Services RoundTable is open to:
- Nonprofit and voluntary organizations active in disaster (VOADs)
- Faith-based organizations
- Local government agencies
- Emergency response partners
- Businesses and service providers
- Community leaders involved in preparedness or recovery
