When the Stars Align: BRACE Invites You to a Night of Resilience and Real Impact
Pensacola, FL — On the evening of August 23rd, the Pensacola Country Club will transform into something extraordinary. Not just a ballroom—but a beacon. Not just a gala—but a gathering of people who believe storms don’t get the final word.
The Storms & Stars Soirée—hosted by the Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies (BRACE)—isn’t just a fundraiser. It’s a frontline celebration of hope, readiness, and recovery. Think less “black-tie banquet,” more “mission in motion with silverware and sequins.”
The night’s theme: resilience. The cause: preparedness. The keynote: Captain Chandra Newman, the first female Commanding Officer of NAS Pensacola, a decorated aviator whose own story is a testament to courage and leadership.
Guests will enjoy dinner, meaningful connection, and powerful stories that illuminate how BRACE helps Escambia County withstand what nature throws our way—before, during, and long after disaster strikes.
“Storms and stars are a part of our Gulf Coast life,” said BRACE CEO Nick Jackson. “This event honors both the challenges we face and the strengths we build together as a community.”
Proceeds from the Soirée support BRACE’s ongoing work, including disaster education for children and adults, training community response teams, equipping underserved families, and supporting long-term recovery for storm-affected residents.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now at www.BeReadyAlliance.org.
Because in Escambia County, the forecast isn’t just about what’s in the sky. It’s about who stands ready under it.
