BRACE Hurricane Expo
BRACE hosted its first Hurricane EXPO in April 2008. The response of the community was overwhelming and the event proved to be an extraordinary success. The second Expo was held on June 20, 2009, co-chaired by Jackie Bell and Lisa Long.
At the EXPO, over 100 exhibitors offer information, hands-on demonstrations, and products and services specifically for disaster mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. This event is FREE to attend and its purpose is to help families and businesses be better prepared to weather whatever disasters come our way. Interactive children’s activities keep children of all ages entertained while they learn.
